FireRiskKit (fireriskkit.co.uk) is operated by Grizzly Logic LLC, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA (“we”). We are the controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@fireriskkit.co.uk.

Your assessments stay on your device

Fire risk assessments, COSHH assessments and log books are created in your web browser. What you type is saved in your browser’s local storage on that device so you can come back to it, and the PDF is generated on your device. None of it is sent to our servers.

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

  • Anonymous usage events (page viewed, PDF downloaded, button clicked, referring site, approximate country). They never contain form contents. Legal basis: legitimate interests in understanding which features are used. Kept for up to 24 months.
  • Cookieless analytics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Google Analytics, only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. It sets cookies and helps us measure visits and our Google Ads. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.
  • Early-access list: the email address and number of premises you enter, to tell you when Pro opens. Legal basis: consent. Kept until you ask us to remove it or Pro launches and you decide not to subscribe.
  • Subscriptions: if you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes the payment as merchant of record; we receive your email address and subscription status to give you access. Legal basis: contract.
  • Server logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share data with

Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics, only with consent; fonts). Pages also load the PDF library from Cloudflare’s cdnjs. Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the USA, under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or equivalent safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Email hello@fireriskkit.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
